Trenchless Sewer Replacement in Naples
Camera-Guided Sewer Lining with Less Excavation
We restore qualifying damaged sewer systems by installing a new lining inside the existing pipe. Mike's Plumbing of Southwest Florida performs trenchless sewer repair in Naples using camera-led assessments, pipe preparation, and cured-in-place pipe lining. This approach can address substantial deterioration without excavating the entire route.
We’ve served Southwest Florida as a full-service plumbing company since 1996. Licensed Master Plumber Jeremy Bohall leads our plumbing team, whose members average more than 30 years of field experience. That experience informs our recommendation for full lining, sectional repair, or another appropriate method.
Call (239) 208-0274 to request a sewer camera inspection and find out whether your damaged line qualifies for trenchless repair.
Determining Whether a Sewer Line Qualifies
A sewer camera inspection reveals the inside of a line without excavation along its entire route. We use the camera to locate damage, assess its extent, and identify the pipe material. These findings allow us to recommend a method based on the system’s condition rather than symptoms alone.
Cracked, corroded, or root-infiltrated pipes may qualify when they haven’t fully collapsed. Trenchless lining can be suitable for cast iron, clay, and some PVC. Because material alone doesn’t determine candidacy, every recommendation begins with an inspection.
During the assessment, we evaluate:
- Damage location: The camera identifies where cracking, corrosion, or root infiltration has affected the line.
- Damage extent: We determine whether the problem is confined to one section or affects a longer run.
- Pipe condition: We check whether the existing structure can support a liner or requires a different approach.
- Pipe material: We identify the material so the proposed work fits the existing sewer system.
Sectional lining is available when damage is limited to part of the system. We can target the failed area rather than line the entire run when its condition and location permit. If the inspection reveals a fully collapsed pipe, lining isn’t an option, and we’ll explain the alternative we recommend.
Our Cured-in-Place Pipe Lining Process
Cured-in-place pipe, often called CIPP lining, creates a seamless, jointless structure within the existing route. The process uses felt saturated with epoxy resin and cured with heat or steam:
- Camera inspection: We direct a camera through the system to confirm its condition and define the area that requires preparation and lining.
- Hydrojetting and preparation: We use hydrojetting to clean and prepare the interior before installing the liner.
- Liner installation and curing: We insert the epoxy-resin-saturated felt liner into the prepared line. Heat or steam cures the material, forming a continuous new pipe without the joints found in segmented piping.
- Post-installation verification: We perform a second camera inspection to verify the completed installation.

Reducing Excavation Around Naples Properties
For a qualifying system, trenchless work can reduce excavation and limit disruption to the yard. This can be particularly useful when homeowners are concerned about landscaping or a driveway. The access required depends on the damaged pipe’s condition and location.
Trenchless work doesn’t always eliminate digging or preparation. It still requires access and may involve selected entry points. We evaluate those needs during the camera-led assessment and explain the proposed approach before work begins.
Sectional lining can further narrow the work to a failed portion when the rest of the pipe doesn’t require treatment. A collapsed section, however, can’t support a liner. In that situation, the amount of excavation depends on the collapse location and the repair method required.
Upfront Sewer Repair Pricing & Financing
Sewer repair cost varies with the pipe’s condition, the length and location of the affected section, access needs, and the selected approach. We provide upfront pricing with no hidden fees and explain our recommendation before starting work.
Financing options are available for qualifying larger repairs, including interest-free plans when the balance is paid within 12 months. Homeowners can discuss eligibility and available terms while evaluating the proposed work.
You’ll receive an appointment confirmation and technician profile before the visit, so you know who to expect. During the appointment, we’ll inspect the line, explain what the camera reveals, and review the suitable option in clear terms.
